And what does this slow carb look like and what do I expect out of it? Well, it looks like the same few meals over and over for the next two weeks. Lean proteins, lots of greens, and plenty of legumes four times a day- loosely every four hours. It also includes a 'binge' day; Anything goes on that day. It is understood that this day allows your body to not acclimate to the new diet by creating this caloric spike. Bring on the croissants, the pasta, the cake, all of the shit that makes me feel like ass but I crave.
This morning I had 3 eggs with chipotle, salsa, and black beans. This will likely be my breakfast for the next two weeks. Lunch will be chicken, spinach salad, and pinto beans. You might think that this sounds boring or too restrictive, but I don't have to think of anything. It is pretty much right there. No way for me to get strategic about it and sabotage it myself! lol
When I just went to do measurements in the bathroom I found an old note card with my measurements on it from about 9 months ago and I wanted to punch something. I have added 2 inches to my bust, an inch to my natural waist, an inch at my navel, and 2 inches to my rear. Yeah yeah yeah, don't get caught up in how far I had slid back but look forward. But yeah- still wanted to punch something!
Back to looking forward....
